Shots fired inside downtown apartment, police say

Two shots were fired in a downtown apartment early Wednesday morning, according to a release from Madison police.

Officers were called to the 500 block of West Johnson Street at 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire.

Police said officers determined that two shots were fired inside and apartment. No one was injured, but there was some property damage.

People believed to be responsible for the shooting are being questioned.
