Shorewood Hills Elementary vandalized with hateful symbols, police searching for suspects

SHOREWOOD HILLS, Wis. — Police are searching for suspects after Shorewood Hills Elementary School was vandalized with obscene and hateful imagery Tuesday night.

Officials said that someone graffitied images of nudity and hateful symbols on the wall of the school.

“This type of graffiti is hateful, unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” police said in a Facebook post.

Police are encouraging residents who live near the school to check security camera footage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on June 28-29 for signs of the potential suspects. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact pole at (608) 255-2345 or Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
