Shirley Jean Privett

Shirley Jean Privett, 68, of Muscoda died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Richland Hospital. She was born February 12, 1944 in Dodgeville the daughter of David and Alice (Hach) Sommers. On September 12, 1961 Shirley married Donald Privett in Richland Center. She worked as a waitress in Rockford and at Passages in Richland Center. Shirley enjoyed reading Danielle Steele, listening to Elvis, doing crosswords, crafts, quilting, and crocheting.

Shirley is survived by two sons: Duane (Linda) Privett of Reedsburg, Dan (Angie) Privett of Muscoda, daughter: Dawn (Antonio) Ordaz of Baraboo, brother: Robert Sommers of Reedsburg, ten grandchildren: Jeremy, Jenny, Dannielle, Joseph, Cruz, Brenda, Tyler, Gabriella, Christopher, Max, three step-grandchild: Serenity, Legend, and Heidi, great-grandchild: Haley, many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, daughter Brenda, and son Joe.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Friends may call on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
