Sheriff’s detective, wife arrested on tentative domestic abuse charges

A Juneau County Sheriff’s Office detective and his wife have been tentatively charged with disorderly conduct related to domestic abuse, according to a release.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the home of Detective Tim Andres around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a possible domestic disturbance, police said.

Andres, 56, and his wife, Jill Andres, 60, were arrested and tentatively charged with disorderly conduct related to domestic abuse, according to the release.

Both of them posted cash bonds and were released pending future court dates, officials said.

According to the release, Tim Andres was placed on administrative leave pending the criminal charges and a separate internal investigation.
