Sheriff: Man driving 30 mph over speed limit was drunk

TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD, Wis. — A man driving at nearly 30 miles per hour over the speed limit on a rural Dane County road early Saturday morning was drunk, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said.
A deputy saw a vehicle traveling at 84 mph in a 55 mph zone of County Highway K in the Town of Springfield at 3:54 a.m. and pulled over the driver, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The driver, Ronald L. Williamson, 36, of Madison, was arrested and charged with his fourth OWI, the release said.
