Sharon Orsburn

Sharon Y. Orsburn, age 77, of Brodhead, passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

She was born in Richland County on August 14, 1938, the daughter of Clarence and Lois (Banker) Cohoon. She was united in marriage with Donald Orsburn on October 23, 1955 and they celebrated 60 wonderful years. Sharon had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed pulling and receiving pranks. In addition to her family,Sharon enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, writing poetry. She truly enjoyed family visits, especially with the grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her son James, her sister Ruth Sarbarcker and her mother and father in law Ivan and Edith Orsburn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in the Button Cemetery. Friends may call at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. The Pratt Funeral Service is assisting the Orsburn family.
