Sharon L. Oliver

SUN PRAIRIE-Sharon L. Oliver, age 75, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital.

She was born on July 11, 1942, in Endeavor, the daughter of James and Marjorie (York) Quinn. She married Gary Oliver on Feb. 14, 1990, in Madison. Sharon worked as a receptionist for Physicians Plus. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Sun Prairie.

Sharon was a lover of animals. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens, and canning, especially applesauce and beets. She also enjoyed cooking, chicken being her specialty and baking for the holidays. Mostly, Sharon loved spending time with her family and camping in Rio. Family was everything to her.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Gary; daughters, Lori (Leslee) Spatola and Lisa Jahn; son, Don (Susan) Bollinger-Brown; grandchildren, Andrew (Sara), Tony (Jen), Bobby, Quintin and Michal Spatola, Ryan (Ashley) and Kelly Jahn, and Gavin and Paige Bollinger-Brown; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Layla, Kade, Mady, Mattea, Leah, Owen and Carson; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and former husbands, Merlin Brown and Bill Gothard.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison at 12 noon on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
