Shane Schroeder

Shane Schroeder, age 59, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the comfort of his home.
He was surrounded by his family and closest friends.
Shane was born on April 26, 1958 in Tomah, Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Ruth (Matherly) Shroeder. He had been battling brain cancer since 2016. As much as we all loved him and will miss him, we know he is in a much better place, joining his brother and his best friends looking down on us and smiling from above. Shane had a love for nature and riding Harley’s. Always living life to the fullest with the wind in his hair and the sun on his face, as he cruised the country on his Harley.
Shane is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Schroeder; sons, Shane Schroeder and Keith Schroeder; daughters, Shana, Shannon and Shawna Schroeder; grandchildren, Taven Mack, Jameson Youngs, Jake Schroeder, Marissa Schroeder and Haley Brokopp; other loved ones, as well as Dustin Schroeder, Tom Nowicki and we can’t forget his best friend and loyal dog, Iggy Schroeder.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Carl’s Bright Spot in Mauston, Wisconsin. This will also be a day of Shane’s cancer benefit. Please join us as we found this would be the easiest with family in town from out of state.
Thank you to everyone who stood by our side during this struggle and the last remaining days of his life. Thank you, The Schroeder Family.
