Seminole Highway bridge to be closed through November
The Seminole Highway bridge will be closed starting Wednesday, according to a release.
Officials said that starting at midnight Wednesday morning, the bridge will be closed to traffic — including pedestrians and bicyclists.
The bridge will be closed through November, according to the release. The on and off ramps at the interchange will remain open during construction to provide access to businesses and neighborhoods.
Pedestrians and bicyclists should use the overpass near Whenona Drive to cross the Beltline, officials said. Motorists are required to use alternate routes and should slow down for crews working in the area.
