Semi tanker rolls over, spills 2,000 gallons of liquid agricultural feed

SOUTH LANCASTER, Wis. — A semi tanker trailer rolled over into a ditch and spilled roughly 2,000 gallons of liquid agricultural feed Monday, according to a news release.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said the driver began turning east on Highway 81 when the trailer he was towing broke free from the vehicle and rolled into a ditch. Emergency crews were on the scene for three hours, according to the release.
Police said the driver was not injured, but the trailer received heavy damage. It is owned by Cobb Shipping Service, of Rewey, Wisconsin.
The Lancaster Fire Department, Lancaster EMS, the Grant County Highway Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol all helped at the scene.
