Sauk County deputies on lookout for stolen equipment

Sauk County has seen a rash of thefts of ATVs and riding lawn mowers the past couple of weeks, and deputies would like residents to help track down the stolen items.

Deputies investigated the theft of a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 90cc youth ATV from a home north of Reedsburg back on May 1.

Ten days later, Reedsburg police also investigated the theft of several items from a local repair shop. Police said the missing items include a n 8-10-year-old green John Deere zero turn 777 liquid cool lawn mower with a yellow seat with a 777 on the back of it and a 2004 90cc Polaris mini four-wheeler. The ATV is green in color with serial #RF3FA09C64T091797 and registration #6715BS.

Also missing from that location is a a black street scooter in poor condition.
