Sauk City man identified in fatal weekend crash

MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office is identifying the person killed in a weekend crash in the Town of Roxbury as 30-year-old Tyler J. Plescia of Sauk City.

The crash happened on State Highway 188 near Inama Road just after 5 a.m. Saturday.

The medical examiner says Plescia was pronounced dead at the scene, and determined he died from his injuries in the crash. Authorities said over the weekend that he was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from his 2003 Chevy Silvarado when it rolled over.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
