Sartori is big cheese in world competition
MADISON, Wis. — Sartori Company’s Black Pepper BellaVitano was awarded the Cheese and Butter, Grand Champion title at the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest with a near-perfect score from the judges.
The cheese scored a 99.85 at the competition. This was not Black Pepper BellaVitano’s first success this year, it was awarded the highest honor at the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest in March.
Sartori also took home two other awards at the competition, with the Limited Edition Pastorale Blend taking a first place and SarVecchio Parmesan taking third.
The company credits their success to the hard work of their family farms, master cheesemakers and team members.
