Ryder plant to close, 100 workers subject to layoffs
BEAVER DAM, Wis. — The Ryder System Inc. facility in Beaver Dam will close before the end of the year, according to a press release from the company.
According to the release, the plan is expected to cease operations by Dec. 15, and the closing is expected to be permanent. One hundred employees will lose their jobs when the logistics and transportation company closes its doors.
