Ruth Marie Teresinski

Ruth Teresinski, age 90 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Clare Meadows in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Eric Sternberg celebrating. Visitation will be held at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells.

Ruth was born January 15, 1926 in Marshfield, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Singer) Griebel. In August of 1947 she married Aloysius Teresinski in Marshfield and in 1955 they moved to Wisconsin Dells. Ruth was a sales clerk for many years at the Hansen Department Store, Riverview Gift Shops and at the Haunted Mansion in the Dells. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years, playing bingo, taking long walks and fixing puzzles. Ruth was very dedicated and involved with her church and she enjoyed and loved her family very deeply.

Ruth is survived by a son, Bill (Mary McCartney) of Baraboo; daughter, Barb (Jim “Fox”) Peterson of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Betty Paasch of Marshfield; grandchildren, Courtney, Matt, Cory, Karri, Terrance, Danny, Amy, April and great grandchildren, Carter, Haylen, Sabrina, Jersey, Peyton, Kaylynn, Amanda, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Don; brothers, Victor and Rueben; and sisters, Ann Lutz and Irene Engmann.
