Runaway kangaroo has drones searching

The search for a runaway kangaroo in South Florida went into its second day on Wednesday, The Associated Press reported.

The search for the missing animal even took to the sky with drones.

More than a dozen officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, state troopers and local law enforcement were searching for Storm, a 5-year-old that hopped away from a home in a Jupiter Farms subdivision, the AP said.

Storm is described as 4 feet tall and 45 pounds with tawny fur, black paws and a powerful tail, Owner Eric Westergard told the wire service. He said the animal is laid back unless he’s startled.
