On the farm she was like a vet in taking care of the livestock. She took care of many nieces and nephews in the summer as they enjoyed being on the farm. She also worked several years at Rural Route 1 in Livingston. Her biggest enjoyments were talking on the phone with family, dog sitting and her strong faith in the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Matilda, Loretta (Emil) Miesen, Wilma (Joe) Fuerstenberg, brothers, Clinton, Clifford (Loretta) Reuter, brother-in-law, Herbert Klein and nieces Veronica and Patricia Fuerstenberg.
