Ronald G. “Ronnie” McNutt

Ronald G. “Ronnie” McNutt, age 81, of Janesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Rock Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness. Ronnie was born on June 22, 1931 in Dodgeville to Arthur and Marjorie (Thomas) McNutt and was a graduate of the Platteville High School. Ronnie served in the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. Following service he attended U.W. Platteville, graduating with an Engineering Degree. He worked for Thermal Dynamics in Oak Creek for over 30 years and retired to Janesville in 1977. Ronnie was a member of The Old Timers 32D Red Arrow Club in Janesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mildred McNutt and a nephew, Roger Lippitt Jr.
Ronnie is survived by a brother, Clem (Ruth) McNutt of Milton; a sister, Barbara (Roger) Lippitt of Madison; nieces, Mary Hughes; Karen McNutt; Kathleen (Jerry) Matts and Linda (Steve) Brick; nephews, Arthur (Joanne) McNutt; Carl (Sandy) McNutt; John (Judy) Lippitt and Paul (Joan) Lippitt as well as many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home in Dodgeville. Friends may call at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home after 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
