Rollover crash leads to 4th OWI charge
UNION TOWNSHIP, Wis. — An Edgerton man is facing his fourth OWI charge after his car rolled over on Highway 59 north of Evansville Friday night.
Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden said deputies were called to Highway 59 near North George Road in Union Township around 8:11 p.m. on a report of a rollover crash. An initial investigation showed the driver, Jonathan P. Hoffer, 58, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, Spoden said.
Hoffer had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Mercy Hospital, Spoden said in a news release. Hoffer is listed as being in serious but stable condition, the release said.
