Roger “Squeak” Brewer

FALL RIVER—Roger “Squeak” Brewer age 79 died on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on September 6, 1932 in Fall River to Harold and Loretta (Brossard) Brewer.
He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Roger was married to June Hemling on June 25, 1955 in Fall River. He retired from the Ball Canning Co. in DeForest after many years of employment. Roger was an active member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fall River where he was an elder and usher. He was a member of the John C. Brossard VFW Post 2219. Roger was always busy, whether it was working in his wood shop, gardening, or helping others.
Survivors include his wife, June of Fall River; one son, Keith (Julie) of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Heather (fiancé Marco Rodriguez,), Nathan, and Molly Brewer; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dennis; one sister, Eileen Hendrickson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at ST. STEPHEN’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Fall River. Rev. James Bolda will officiate.
Interment will be in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church on Wednesday.
