Roger J. Erickson

MADISON- Roger J. Erickson, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Karmenta Nursing Home. He was born on Sept. 21, 1955, in Madison, the son of Robert and Bertha (Reynolds) Erickson. Roger attended East High School. He worked at Ray-O-Vac for many years, after their closing, he was employed at Swiss Colony and Martin Security. Roger enjoyed collecting die cast cars, bowling, camping and softball.

He is survived by a sister, Pamela Dienberg (Patrick Kilian) of Montello; a niece, Gina Graville and her husband Cliff Klassey of Madison; good friends, Russell and Micki Mezera and Dale Salzman; along with numerous relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of the service on Friday.
