Rock County Clerk to take Beloit clerk job

The Rock County Clerk is leaving her post to be the clerk for the city of Beloit.

Lori Stottler was announced as the next Beloit City Clerk on Friday. City Manager Larry Arft said Stottler was “by far the best qualified candidate.”

Stottler was elected Rock County Clerk in 2008. She starts in Beloit on June 1.
