Robert F. Nartowicz

BLACK EARTH-Robert F. “Bob” Nartowicz, age 63, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the UW Hospital in Madison.
He was born on June 26, 1949, in McKeesport, PA., the son of Frank and Dolores (Dranko) Nartowicz. Bob was united in marriage to the love of his life, Maureen Acker on August 22, 1981 in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ashton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bob was an avid Harley and race car enthusiast and a real “do-it-yourself” kind of guy. He owned and operated Payphones Plus in Dane County for over twenty years.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Maureen; his mother, Dolores; brothers, Jan Michael (Diana), Jim (Tina), Terry (Rose); sister, Lynda (Frank Barrett),father and mother-in-law, Lawrence (Tharsilla “Sally”) Acker; brother and sister in-laws, Gary (Sharon) Acker, Luann (Michael) McNally, Tom (Sara) Acker, Bonnie (Jamie) Dahlk, and an adopted kitty, Spanky. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Frank Nartowicz.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Sister John Rose, Sister Elmerine and Sister Haroldine for their encouragement and support given. Private services will be held.
