Robert C. Wagner

MONONA-Robert C. “Bob” Wagner, age 74, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012, at Meriter Hospital with his family by his side. Bob was born on Dec. 1, 1937, in the township of York, to Henry and Henrietta (Frey) Wagner. He married Elizabeth Ann Wick on Jan. 21, 1961, at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Madison. Bob was self-employed as a carpenter after retiring from Sycom after 34 years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty; four sons, Dan (Cathy), Mike (Kim), Mark (Kathy), and Paul (Amy); nine grandchildren, Brent (Stef), Tyler, Mariah, Malory, Graham, Bryce, Nathan, Lauren, and Lyla; brother, Leon (Joyce) Wagner; sisters, Marian Fabian, Carol (Dennis) Erstad, and Joann (Danny) Markee, and sister-in-law, Mary Joyce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Henrietta; his mother and father-in-law, Ed and Florence Wick; brothers-in-law, Howard Fabian, Jerome Joyce, and James Wick.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield Street, Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Friday.

To his early morning coffee friends; he enjoyed you so much and looked forward to seeing you every morning over the last years.

You are gone, but will never be forgotten.
