Robber takes cash from far east side PDQ

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are looking for a woman they believe took cash from a far east side gas station early Sunday morning.
In a news release, police said the woman walked into the PDQ store at 4741 Lien Road just after midnight, approached the clerk and demanded money. The robber did not show a weapon but implied that she had one, police said. The clerk gave the robber money, after which she fled.
Police attempted to locate the woman using a K-9 team but were unsuccessful.
Police described the robber as a black woman around 50 years old and 5 feet tall. She was wearing black glasses, a black jacket, red shirt and blue jeans.
Police are still investigating the incident.
