Road work expected to start on County Road H near Reedsburg

Construction on County Road H near Reedsburg is expected to start Tuesday, according to a release.

County Road H will remain open between Fawn Valley and North Frontage roads during the construction, but the road will be reduced to one lane during the day with flagging operations being used to control traffic, officials said.

Crews will be milling and pulverizing the existing asphalt surface, mixing liquid asphalt with the millings, relaying and paving the road with 3.5 inches of new asphalt and upgrading the guardrail, according to the release. The road will also be widened by 4 feet to accommodate increased traffic, bicyclists and truck traffic.

The project is expected to be done by October, according to the release.
