Rita Kay Rupp

SOUGHTON, Wis. — Rita Kay Rupp, age 75, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Stoughton Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on September 26, 1941, in Lancaster, WI, the daughter of Claude Rice and Ruby (Hutchcroft) Rice. She married Charles Rupp on June 21, 1958 at the First Baptist Church in Lancaster, WI. Rita is survived by her husband, two sons, Ritchie (Linda) and Russell (Susan); five grandchildren, Dustin, Shadoe, Evelyn, Anna, and Erik; two sisters-in-law, Elaine “Tootles” Rice of Fort Atkinson, WI, and Gienda “Jane” Morelane of Lander, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Claudie (Eileen) Rice, Llewellyn “Bud” Rice, Stanley Rice, and Lyle (Rose) Clauer. A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 8, 2017 at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, at 12 noon with Rev. Eric Vander Ploeg presiding. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Thursday.
