Rita Kay Osgood

Rita K. Osgood, age 53, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Maplewood Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Rita was born October 8, 1958 to the late Duane Osgood and Marvalene (Grass) Grauvogl.

Rita enjoyed spending time with family, friends and children of all ages. Survivors include her mother, her fiancé Gary Bolar, her son Brandon (special friend Caity) Bolar, her step-son Jason Bolar and special dog Gunner. Rita is survived by her siblings Ken (Sandy) Osgood, Wanda (Mike) Kohlman, Lori (Dale) Hamilton, Russ Osgood, Dave (Cyndie) Osgood, Alan (Michelle) Osgood and nieces and nephews, Scott, Sarah, Janel, Derek, Karissa, Kyle, Christian, Zachary, Addison along with 6 great nieces and nephews and her aunt Marilyn Geibel. Rita is preceded in death by her father, aunt Shirley Grass, nephew Timothy Osgood, step-father Florian Grauvogl, brother in-law Pat Hamilton and her grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:30am at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Friends may call from 9:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Zion Memorial Cemetery, Prairie du Sac Twshp.
