A Rio man is the eighth person sentenced in connection to a California-to-Wisconsin marijuana distribution conspiracy, according to a state Department of Justice release.

Timothy Dover, 44, was sentenced Thursday to three years of probation, according to the release. Dover will have to serve 180 days of home confinement and he will have to perform 10 hours of community service each year of probation.

The judge said she took into account that Dover cooperated with the government and has worked steadily to support his family in his sentencing.

Dover is the eighth and final member of the marijuana distribution network to be sentenced. The other participants were Chad Ruenger, 34, of Waterloo, Joshua Campbell, 28, of Madison, Daniel Frazier, 48, of Fairfax, Calif., Timothy Frazier, 50, of Fairfax, Calif., Didrik Petersen, 46, of Fairfax, Calif., Eissa Kazi, 23, of Madison, and Jeffrey Well, 34, of Madison.
