Richard L. Neuman

LODI-Richard L. Neuman, age 75, died Friday, May 18, 2012, following a brief battle with cancer.
Richard was born and raised in Beaver Dam, the oldest son of Richard Leo and Agnes (Sterr) Neuman. He graduated from Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam and then attended the UW-Madison where he earned a degree in mechancial engineering and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
Richard and Mary were wed in 1963 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Monona. Richard worked as a mechanical contractor until retiring at the age of 65. He had many interests but his biggest passion was fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Kathryn (Engel); his son, Doug; daughters, Beth and Heidi; sister, Pat (Frank) Burr; brother, Robert (Jude); five grandchildren; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 521 Fair Street, Lodi, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, with Father Francisco Higuera presiding.
The burial will follow at Garden Bluff Cemetery.
