Richard Donald Pribbenow

LODI-Richard Donald Pribbenow, age 82, of Lodi, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Haven Hills. He was born on Jan. 11, 1935, in Arlington, Wis., the son of Gustave and Grace Pribbenow. He married Janice Kjorlie on Aug. 31, 1957, at First Lutheran Church in Lodi. In September, 1989 he married Marilyn Howe. Richard attended Lodi schools. He was a plumber for Michel’s Plumbing for 35 years. Richard was a mason and past master for three years at Lodi Valley Lodge. He enjoyed bowling and hunting. He also enjoyed fishing with his friend, Roger Wink. Richard is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Rick (Ros) Pribbenow, and Nancy (Vincent) Karls; step-children, Tom (Sandy) Howe, Peggy Howe (Bob Meade), Barbara Howe (Ron Albert), Julie (John) Heffelfinger and Tamara (Bill) Schultz; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Clemens and Sally MacFarlane; brother, Terry Pribbenow; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and brother-in-law, Roger Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Locust St, Lodi, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, with the Rev. Dianne Vielhuber presiding. Burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday, with a mason service at 8:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Lodi United Methodist Church or Reach Out Lodi.
