Residents Have Two Final Chances To Weigh In On 2012 Madison Budget
The city of Madison wants to hear from its citizens when it comes to finalizing next year’s city budget.
Officials are crafting an abbreviated schedule that they feel will allow for more productive public input.
Two upcoming public meetings on the budget are scheduled: On Tuesday, Nov. 15, in room 201 at the City-County Building at 5:30 p.m., and on Wednesday, Nov. 16, in room 260 at the Madison Municipal Building, also at 5:30 p.m.
Public testimony will be limited to five minutes per speaker.
It is hoped that a final vote on the 2012 city budget will happen by the end of that week.
