Report: Ellis to opt out of contract.
Bucks hire assistant coaches

Milwaukee, Wis. — According to an ESPN report, Bucks guard Monta Ellis will opt out of his current contract to test the free agent market.
Ellis had one-year and $11-million left on his current deal.
The ESPN report also says Ellis is drawing interest from Atlanta, Dallas, and the Lakers.
The Lakers could only acquire Ellis on a sign-and-trade basis.
Last year, Ellis led the Bucks in scoring.
In other Bucks news, the Bucks have named Bob Bender and Nick Van Exel assistant coaches to Head Coach Larry Drew. Both are holdovers from Drew’s staff in Atlanta.
