Renora Bremmer

Renora M Bremmer, age 86 of Muscoda died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Bloomfield Manor Nursing Home in Dodgeville surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home in Crawford County on June 5, 1926, the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Farrington) Zajicek. Renora was united in marriage to Albert J Bremmer at St. Kilians Catholic Church in Bear Valley on October 10, 1947. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Muscoda. She and Bert farmed in Orion Township, Richland County and operated the Riverview Hills Canoe Rental. She worked at Cliffs Café, Walsh’s Store and made wedding cakes for all her loved ones and the community.

Renora is survived by 6 children: Peter (Cindy) Bremmer of Muscoda, Galen Bremmer of Avoca, Thomas (Linda) Bremmer of Waunakee, William (Sharon) Bremmer of Blue River, Margaret (Gary) Paulus of Spring Green, Josephine (Don) Mahieu of Mineral Point,
21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brother Paul (Marlys) Zajicek; sisters: “Sue” Schmitz and Eileen Angle; sisters-in-law: Penny and Marie Zajicek; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Renora was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bert, brothers: Galen and James Zajicek, brother-in-law Ken Schmitz, and grandson Kevin D Rundle Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Muscoda at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00PM where a rosary service will be held at 7:45 PM. Friends may call again on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 10:00AM. The Godager Pratt Funeral Home of Muscoda is assisting the family with their arrangements.
