Red light runner flees from fatal crash

MILWAUKEE — Police are looking for a male suspect who ran from a fatal car crash in Milwaukee.

The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say the suspect ran a red light on the city’s northwest side and hit the victim’s vehicle. A 48-year-old woman who was a passenger in that vehicle was killed. The man behind the wheel was injured.

Police say the suspect fled on foot.
