Red Cross Holds Holiday Blood Drive
The holidays might be the season of giving gifts, but one organization is reminding area residents to give a different gift.
As it has for 26 years, the American Red Cross hosted its Holiday Blood Drive.
Just on Friday, the Red Cross received 622 donations.
In honor of all December blood and platelet donors, a money contribution will be made to the American Red Cross annual holiday program.
There are still more opportunities to donate as the drive will continue on Dec. 27 through Dec. 29 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the state Capitol rotunda.
