Red Cross assessing needs in Brandon, WI after severe weather

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers responded to Brandon, Wisconsin, due to the severe weather, a news release said Friday.
Volunteers will assess the community’s needs from the damage done by the storms earlier on Friday. The release said a reception center is available for local residents at Brandon School, located at 200 Bowen Street, if needed.
So far, the damage appears to be mostly downed trees and power outages, the release said. The Red Cross will provide canteen services this evening for emergency responders as they work to figure out the extent of the damage.
The Red Cross says they will continue to monitor the need for service and provide their assistance as needed.
