Poynette man arrested on charges of sexually assaulting child

A Poynette man was arrested Wednesday after police said he sexually assaulted a child at the Dekorra business where they both worked. 

Cole McCormick, 22, is being held on bond after having sex with his 15-year-old coworker in a bathroom, according to a police report. 

McCormick denies the incident, police said, though he admitted to investigators that he did kiss and touch the girl.
