Portion of Capital City Trail to be closed next week

A portion of the Capital City Trail will be closed next week for crews to work on ATC poles next to the path, according to a release.

Henkels and McCoy will close the trail between Sugar Avenue and Walter Street from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, officials said.

A detour for both directions of traffic will be signed following Hargrove Street to Starkweather Drive through O.B. Sherry Park to Ivy Street to Fair Oaks Avenue, according to the release.
