Police won’t pursue charges against person of interest in van incident

Madison police said they will not be pursuing criminal charges in connection with an incident where a man reportedly forced a woman into a white van in an east side parking lot Monday afternoon.
A woman walking through the Eastside Shopping Center in the 2700 block of East Washington Avenue told police the man approached her and forced her into his van around 1 p.m., according to a release.
