Police: Teenage Boy Upset By Racial Slurs

A 15-year-old Madison boy said he was disturbed when three other teens hurled racial slurs at him while he was walking his dog on a street on Madison’s southwest side last week.

The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the 1100 block of Morraine View Drive.

According to police, the boy was out walking his dog when two or three younger boys — all of whom were white — began yelling racial epithets at him.

The victim said he wasn’t worried about his safety but was upset by the slurs yelled at him.
