Police: Stoughton man stabbed, teen arrested
A 42-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds in a disturbance at his home in Stoughton and a 17-year-old has been arrested, according to a release from Stoughton police.
Officers were called to the 600 block of North Page Street at 1:07 a.m. for a report of a disturbance where a homeowner had caught a prowler. When they arrived, they found the homeowner had been stabbed multiple times.
The man was taken to Stoughton Hospital and later flown to a Madison hospital for further treatment.
A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody on felony charges related to the stabbing, police said.
Police said the incident is not random and there’s no danger to the public.
