Police seize guns, crack, heroin, cocaine, ammo in west Madison search

Police seized a variety of drugs and ammunition at a west Madison residence Tuesday, according to a news release.
Madison police said officers along the Dane County Narcotics Task Force searched two homes at about noon: one in the 100 block of North Rosa Road and the other in the 4600 block of Atticus Way.
Police found two loaded handguns, $2,800, 17.2 grams of cocaine base (crack), 5.7 grams of heroin, .5 grams of cocaine, several cellphones, long-gun ammunition in various calibers, scores of rounds and drug paraphernalia.
One man was arrested near the Atticus address and another man was arrested during a traffic stop on Grand Canyon Drive, according to the release.
Cameron A. Bates, 26, of Madison, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of a felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of delivery of cocaine, a probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kyle L. Parker, 29, of Madison, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver cocaine base, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of cocaine, attempted delivery of cocaine, operating after suspension.
Police said a third suspect remains at large, but police did not identify him or her Wednesday morning.
