Police: Man robbed Janesville bank, fled on bicycle

Janesville police are looking for a man who robbed a Janesville bank and fled on a bicycle.

According to the Janesville Police Department, police responded to a robbery at the Educational Employees Credit Union at 3:40 p.m. A man robbed the credit union and left, going northwest on Kennedy Road on a bike. He did not display a weapon.

Police said the man is a white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build, dirty blond chin-length wavy hair and no facial hair.  He had a pockmarked face, sunglasses, black zip-up hooded jacket, dark colored stocking cap and light colored jeans. He was also carrying a black duffel bag over his shoulder.

Police said the bicycle is described as a men’s mountain bike, color unknown.
