Police: Man randomly attacked people on State Street
A drunken man randomly attacked several people on State Street Wednesday night, according to a release from Madison police.
Officers were called to the 600 block of State Street at 6:58 p.m. when a man got punched in the head while the attacker yelled racial slurs and vulgar language.
Another man suffered a bloody nose and another complained of concussion-like symptoms.
Police said they couldn’t determine the reason the man was attacking strangers.
Julian R. Parks, 23, was arrested on suspicion of three counts each of battery and disorderly conduct.
