Police: Man high on drugs crashes vehicle into parked cars
Man tells police a pretty woman was to blame

MADISON, Wis. —
Madison police said they have arrested a Madison man after he crashed his car into parked cars, then admitted to paramedics he was high on heroin at the time. The incident happened in the 1000 block of East Gorham just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, Travis Quillen, 29, of Madison, plowed into a parked car on East Gorham Saturday, causing it to smash into a second car on the busy street.
Police said someone who came to Quillen’s aid found him slumped over and unresponsive, and a woman driving behind Quillen told police she was going to call 911 because he was swerving all over the road.
A paramedic told police he administered Narcan, and Quillen admitted to him he was shooting heroin prior to the crash. Police said the driver told them later he was taking OxyContin for back pain, not heroin.
Quillen told police he saw a pretty woman walking to his left, and as he looked at her, the pickup truck he was driving suddenly veered to the right, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
Police said they arrested Quillen on a charge of fourth-offense operating while under the influence.
