Police investigating suspicious death in Adams County

Police are investigating a suspicious death in the Town of Strongs Prairie after a man was pronounced dead early Thursday morning, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center responded to a 911 call at 2:21 a.m.  Thursday requesting an ambulance for a victim of a possible overdose at 1758 Cottonville Ave. in Strongs Prairie.

According to police, emergency responders found a man identified as Kevin Bergeron, 40, of Adams, in the bathroom of the home. Attempts to revive Bergeron were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said the cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy. The incident remains under investigation by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Adams County Medical Examiner’s Office.
