Police investigating after suspicious package found outside Wisconsin synagogue

FOX POINT, Wis. — The Fox Point Police Department is investigating after a suspicious package was found outside of a synagogue in the city.

The package was discovered around 11:15 a.m. Monday at the Congregation Shalom, according to TMJ 4 in Milwaukee. The synagogue is located at 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd, in Fox Point.

Streets surrounding the area have been closed while police investigate.
