Police investigate multiple shots fired calls across city overnight

MADISON, Wis. — Numerous callers reported multiple shots at approximately 2:00 a.m. Saturday, ranging from Loftsgordon Avenue to Kennedy Heights, to Sherman Avenue.
Police were unable to find any substantial evidence.
It is worth noting that police also received calls about gunshots at 9:52 p.m. near North Blount Street and later at 1:10 a.m. near 2400 Seminole Highway.
Police were not able to find the origin of the gunshots and said the gunshot sounds near 2400 Seminole Street could be due to construction noise, officials said.
