Oregon police are hoping the public will be able to identify a vehicle they believe is connected to several mailboxes that were damaged over the weekend.

Police said seven residents reported mailboxes being damaged Sunday on Ash Street, Lynne Trail, Alpine Parkway, Cherrywood and South Burr Oak Avenue.

According to a release, they believe the damage occurred overnight.

Oregon police released an image Wednesday of a vehicle that was seen in the area when the damage was believed to have happened.

Police said the driver of the vehicle is considered a person of interest. It is believed to be an early to mid-2000s Chevrolet or GMC Suburban, possibly red or maroon in color.

Police ask anyone with information on the damage to contact Oregon police at 608-835-3111.
